Foodstuff

Dim sum is the feast of a Chinese brunch, available in any urban Chinatown, that includes a dizzying array of dumplings, noodles, and barbecued meats. The problem in satisfying a dim sum craving is that such a feast rarely lends itself to dining solo. In most places you bring six or seven friends along, in order to sample as many little delicacies as possible. But Beijing Restaurant (9976 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, 954-435-1222) is a place where just one dim sum aficionado seeking a quick dumpling fix can find solace. Beijing offers dumplings galore in an all-you-can-eat spread that includes all the usual suspects -- shrimp dumplings, barbecued pork, pot-stickers, and thick chow fun noodles. At Beijing you can grab a quick dumpling infusion or a languorous feast for less than $10.
