I'm used to restaurants serving unlikely cuisine combinations -- this one offers Mexican and Cuban food, for example, that one French and Spanish entrees. I even dined in a place that served Italian and Japanese fare. But talk about an odd couple: Willie's Drive-Thru Ice Cream and Roti (500 E. Oakland Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-564-0194) not only wants you to sample its frozen goodies and the hot 'n' spicy beef and potatoes wrapped in thin bread, it wants you to do it in your car. Well OK then, I can do two things at once (sometimes). But by the end of an impromptu meal, either the ice cream has melted or the roti has cooled. So I suggest doing the following: Go through the drive-thru twice: once for dinner, again for dessert.
