So you want to go to Sanibel and Captiva islands (see "Captiva Audience," page 51), but you don't know where to eat or where to begin researching your restaurant choices. Maybe you have kids. Maybe you're allergic to seafood. Maybe you're just picky-choosy. Make it easy on yourself. Go to Cooper's Dining Guide(www.cuisine-scene.com). The Website partners a book by Karen Cooper titled The Cuisine Scene that not only lists just about every full-service restaurant on the islands -- there are roughly 50 -- but publishes their menus as well. While you can't download the menus from the Internet, you can get a decent summary of each eatery, which will steer you in the right direction -- southwest, my friends, southwest.
