I've always been curious about the sign I see on a building just off Interstate 95 advertising Best Food Online (www.bestfoodonline.com). Turns out the company, which offers gourmet food products, from anchovies to escargots, is based right here in South Florida. The site is organized neatly, with an alphabetical list of items, so you can find what you're looking for quickly and efficiently. Naturally, given the circumstances of air travel, shipping may be slow in these post-World-Trade-Center-bombing days. But for those of us who will eventually need to offer expressions of sympathy with gifts of fine fare, Best Food Online may be an easy way to fulfill a need and help the local economy to boot.
