The two-week-old Florida Tap Room Restaurant & Bar (515 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-779-3008) -- former address of Fins Dockside -- offers an expertly chosen wine list that features popular vineyards' second labels and unusual boutique vintages. Indeed, when a list of whites starts off with a viognier, enophiles know they're in a good space. As do ale quaffers: The Tap Room makes good on its appellation with drafts ranging from Old Thumper, an English bitter, to Fuggles India Pale Ale. The only drawback to the restaurant is that when it rains, it really does pour: The eatery offers only dockside outdoor seating.
