Survey Says! These are the people in your neighborhood -- and their Top Ten 2002 listsBy Tom BowkerPublished on January 02, 2003Some good records came out last year, nationally and regionally, by gum. They sure did. So we polled a bunch of local music lovers and compiled lists of their favorites. Some said they didn't listen to much new music; others said they didn't buy in albums in 2002, and some just didn't have their shit together in time to put together a list. (Some even insisted on listing records that didn't come out in '02. These kids today.) But some folks did, bless their little hearts. And here they are, for your perusal (or disposal). This is what the cognoscenti says; for your own good, take heed. Or if you disagree, please, write a letter and voice your discontent. After all, this is America -- for at least a few more months.
