Have you ever had the urge to punch something? With all the stress and angst that comes from the everyday grind of life, people need an outlet through which to channel extra energy and burn off some steam. And occasionally, the target of one's built-up frustration might just be another individual, and those two people thus require a cathartic session to rid the demons within their relationship.

No, this isn't a bunch of psychobabble. This is simply the rationalization behind "Fight Club" (formerly "Monday Night Boxing") at Starbar (109 SW Second Ave., Fort Lauderdale) this Tuesday. They have become the arbiters in domestic disputes, offering boxing-style grudge matches in lieu of a court hearing, thus sparing us all from listening to a bunch of long-winded short-witted lawyers.

Instead of pitting one's pricey attorney against a sworn enemy's three-piece suit, Judge Judy style, the parties in question step into the ring to bash and bludgeon each other, until, after both are cut and concussed, a winner is declared. Very primitive, but apparently it works.

So let's get ready to rumble. The gloves go on and the bell rings at 10 p.m., and the action continues until no one else gets in the ring. Call 954-463-5276. -- Russ EvansSUN 9/14Moroso What?

You know that annoying bumper sticker "He who dies with the most toys wins"? Well, Moroso sure embodies that testosterone-drenched mantra. Yep, it's another Moroso Motorsports Park show. The event features a Show-'n'-Shine with awards from Mopar Muscle magazine, a manufacturers' marketplace, a swap meet, a model car show, drag racing, a gamblers race, PT Cruisers, and bracket racing for all makes and models. Mopars race against Mopars, Fords against Fords, Chevys against Chevys, until there are only eight cars left! Smell the exhaust starting at 9 a.m. at Moroso, 17047 Beeline Hwy., Palm Beach Gardens. Spectator tickets cost $15 to $20. Children 12 and younger are admitted free. Call 561-622-1400. -- Audra Schroeder
