SAT 3/20 Free. No other word has quite the same visceral impact. That being said... Free movies this Saturday night at Weston Regional Park (20200 Saddle Club Rd., Weston)! Yep, there'll be free screenings of Spiderman and Daredevil as part of Maroone Moonlight Movies. Spiderman, the 2002 blockbuster starring Tobey Maguire, is a take on the classic normal-guy-turned-skyscraper-scaling-crime-fighter action film. Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck, is a similar tale about an average Joe who acquires special powers to fight the bad guys. Spiderman and Daredevil begin at 7 and 9 p.m., respectively. THU 3/18 t's been a long time since the nation united around its TV screens, anxiously awaiting a network rebroadcast of 1955's Revenge of the Creature or 1976's Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy-- in 3-D! Remember the mad rush to 7-Eleven to pick up your blue-and-red glasses? If you liked it, you loved it, and you want some more of it, check out the one-night-only "Exposure" photo exhibit along West Palm Beach's Clematis Street. It includes an anaglyphic (that's old-school 3-D) show at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts (201 Clematis St.) at 7 p.m., photography projections on storefronts and walls, and pictures hanging in vacant commercial spaces. After you've gotten an eyeful or two, meet featured shutterbugs at Parrots on the Water (1 N. Clematis St.), beginning at 9 p.m. Mayor Lois Frankel will also announce a "new downtown initiative" so secret that event organizer Greg Ross said he'd be "killed by the mayor's Secret Service" if he leaked any details. SUN 3/21 Ron Morris spent his life flying airplanes, running the commercial space program at Cape Canaveral, and shuttling late Gov. Lawton Chiles on trade missions to the Ukraine. Once he retired and turned his business, the Sheffield School of Aeronautics, over to his children, he thought he'd settle down and start flying hot-air balloons. But his other job -- his volunteer position as president of the Kiwanis Club -- has eaten all his time. So, instead of piloting them, he's arranged a "Hot Air Balloon Festival" at Plantation Heritage Park (1100 S. Fig Tree Ln., Plantation). You gotta get there at 7 a.m. to see the 11 colorful balloons launch into the sky, but sleepers-in can check out antique cars, orchid and plant sales, K-9 demonstrations, and free health screenings by local hospitals until 6 p.m. Admission costs $6; all proceeds help underprivileged kids.
