If you haven't yet paid your taxes, you've already pretty much botched things, so at this point, the best thing to do is avoid unnecessary fretting. Relax. Have something to eat, like a soothing, scrumptious bowl of chicken matzoh-ball soup at the Odyssey Diner(15200 Jog Rd., Delray Beach, 561-638-9393). Feeling better already? You betcha. And better still, polish off a bronze-skinned roasted chicken, or stuffed cabbage, or brisket of beef, or broiled salmon, or maybe something Greek comfortably paired with mixed vegetables and mashed or sweet potatoes. Now you can put things into perspective and realize that you've got literally hundreds of minutes left to finish those forms and get your tax package postmarked, so settle in and take your sweet time with dessert -- admittedly nothing too fancy, but a dish of rice pudding or jiggly Jell-O should suffice. You get a beverage or coffee too, the whole dinner costing only $9.95 to $12.95. If you don't have that much left after getting fleeced by Uncle Sam, perhaps it is time to start fretting.
