That's right, fuck 'em. What did they ever do for us? 2-for-1 Sex on the Beach shots? Touched by an Angel? The Simple Life 2? It's enough to make anyone want to claw their eyes out. With that in mind, the brains behind the monthly 100% Artcore night at Karma Lounge give you an alternative. "Fuck Tuesdays is the flipside of the Artcore coin," says Artcore co-organizer Brendan Grubb. "And it's nice to throw a show I don't have to shave for." That's because it's at the Poor House, so you don't have to worry about digging your only button-down shirt out of the hamper. DJs Mr. AmericaX, Cornbread, and Funk Uranium throw down a handful of noise, no wave, and experimental rock; you can also catch a live set by Partial Birth and DeathDigsDisco. -- Audra Schroeder
