Imagine you're cutting through the dark waters of the Atlantic Ocean in a cigarette boat stashed with several hundred pounds of cocaine and a Coast Guard helicopter hot on your ass. Now you can have the soundtrack to that little fantasy. Now It's Overhead, the brainchild of Athens, Georgia, producer Andy LeMaster, has produced a sonic landscape that induces flashbacks to The The, the shoegaze of Galaxie 500, and the whispers of Red House Painters. -- Jon Wilkins

Now It's Overhead performs with Rilo Kiley and Tilly on the Wall at 9 p.m. Sunday, October 17, at I/O, 30 NE 14th St., Miami. Tickets cost $12. Call 305-358-8007.
