Only recently, Levine learned from an FBI agent investigating the case that Rehman never actually boarded the jet that supposedly took him to Jordan. She sputters in dismay that it took almost six months for investigators to verify whether he actually used the ticket he'd purchased. "Wouldn't that have been the first thing you'd check?" she says.
