MCs on Parade

Get your calendar and mark Wednesday nights as “booked,” now that the Poor House has launched its weekly “Art of Moving Butts” extravaganza. Jay and Josh (formerly of Hashbrown) are back from an exhausting year of playing/partying in New York, and they’ll be laying down background sounds for a slew of MCs who will rotate through the stage during the course of the night (while Josh from Hagus McGagagus handles the drums). Taking the mic tonight: Butta Verses, Filth, Wreckonize, and Detox. This week’s installment of the party does double-duty as a tribute to Richard Pryor; a DJ will play samples from his comedy routines.
