When Blues Brothers 2000 hit the theaters in 1998, some die-hard fans feared that the late John Belushi (a.k.a., Jake Blues) would be replaced by his brother, Jim. But then John Goodman stepped in to play a different character and the issue was sidestepped. The Brothers’ most recent incarnation does include the younger Belushi. But, again, it’s a different role -- Brother Zee. Naysayers, well… they’ll probably go anyway. The Blues Brothers Starring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi dance their way – in the flesh -- into the Hard Rock Live (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) at 8 p.m. this Thursday. Tickets cost $50 to $90.
