The Color of Jam

Tea Leaf Green

In the jam-band world, there is a natural need to fill the void created by the departure of Phish and the Dead — and Tea Leaf Green has met the challenge with flying colors (well... green, at least). Keeping with the jam-band tradition, Tea Leaf Green makes MP3s of its gigs available for download on its website and posts complete setlists online as well. In a few years' time, the Tea Leafers have earned a following that has taken them from small bars to full-size venues, opening for the likes of Trey Anastasio and the Dave Matthews Band. On Tea Leaf Green's recently released CD/DVD, Rock 'n' Roll Band, we get an up-close glimpse of the band during a performance in Boulder, Colorado. They haven't made it big yet — but they are well aware that they just might.
