Shorts on the Run
Published on July 25, 2007 at 12:01am
Fear of commitment isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Without it, we wouldn’t have all-you-can-eat buffets, speed dating, or most importantly: “Grab Our Shorts” at Willow Theatre in Sugar Sands Park (300 S. Military Tr., Boca Raton). Shorts is a collection of eight mini-plays that run the gambit from satire to drama. And since each of the ten-minute tales are written and directed by members of Boca Raton Theatre Guild and Boca Raton Playwrights, you can consider it a local talent smorgasbord. The performances are for three days only, so get ´em while they’re hot on Friday and Saturday (both at 7:30 p.m.), and Sunday (2 p.m.) this weekend. Tickets cost $5. Call 561-347-3948.
