If you've ever jokingly tried to imitate that cheesy porno flick funk music and drawn only blank stares of horror, you'd better go see Pablo Francisco for pointers. He's one of the few impressionist comics who's skilled enough to pull off that old chestnut without getting the proverbial fruits and vegetables chucked on stage. That’s because Pablo is the Comedian of the People: his vocal bag of tricks covers everyman topics, like psycho ex-girlfriends and his deadpan “Movie Voiceover Guy.”

Chances are, you're familiar with Pablo from his days as a cast member on Mad TV, guest appearances on Mind of Mencia and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as his own Comedy Central specials. So if you've ever wondered how many different sounds the human voice is capable of, find out Thursday through Sunday when Pablo brings his shtick to the Fort Lauderdale Improv (5700 Seminole Way, Hollywood). Tickets cost $21.20 to $26.50. Call 954-981-5653, or visit www.improvftl.com.
