The 18th Annual Poverello Bowl-A-Thon rolls into Manor Lanes today (1517 26th St, Wilton Manors) to raise money for The Poverello Center, a food and clothing bank for people with HIV/AIDS. Registration has already come and gone, so if you're not signed up you can't bowl, but you can still show up for the raffles and stuff and support the organization by handing over some cash. And where there is bowling, there is much drinking of alcohol, so that's always a fun time. Speaking of drinking: the after party will be at a bar called Smarty Pants (3038 N Federal Hwy., Wilton Manors) Call 954-561-1724.
