We Predict "Light My Firefighter"
At Boca’s debauched dueling piano bar, FunKey Nutz (303 SE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton), patrons are usually the ones who shed their clothing. During naughty renditions of classic rock and pop tunes, guys at tightly packed, stage-side tables whoop and holler as inebriated women do their best Motley Crüe groupie impersonations, flinging their bras and panties to the rafters in exchange for a free T-shirt. But on Thursday, the ladies will be doing most of the whooping and probably all the hollering when firefighters from Dade to Martin counties show up to bare their chests for charity. See, firefighters love two things: First, charity events – which is great, because all the proceeds from the door ($10 a head) and half the pot from the cash raffle will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association courtesy of the Boca Raton Firefighters. Second, they adore stripping down to just their pantaloons and showing off their well-toned bodies. Both are requirements to join, we suspect. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. sharp, and just so the guys in attendance have someone to gawk at too, Lauren "Ms. United States 2007" Wanger will be hanging out. Call 561-951-9866.
