Amanda Watkins is hip to this notion, so she’s coordinated a renegade craft extravaganza called Stitch Rock. It’s happening on Saturday, and it’s your one chance to see Delray Beach transform itself into a bustling Williamsburg indie-marketplace for an afternoon.

The vendors are a diverse legion of crafty sorts, making and peddling everything from pocket mirrors and stationery to body lotions and hand-knit doggie scarves. So everyone on your holiday shopping list – from mom to Fido – is covered in one adorable stop. Get your engine revvin’ with hand-painted rockabilly art by Slushbox, then slather on something luxurious like vegan Citrus and Basil Whipped Body Cream by local gal-run company Lollibomb. Everyone’s favorite fashion designer Adrianne Ruffin will not only be selling her deconstructed/reconstructed clothing, she and Jessica Bosch (wardrobe stylist to the stars and the starstruck) are taking over the catwalk at 3 p.m. for a runway show. The estrogenathon begins at noon and ends at 6 p.m. at the Old School Square Vintage Gymnasium (51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach). Entry is $3 at the door (little tykes are free with a parent).
