The only thing better than making cool stuff is buying the cool stuff that others have already made. It’s all the fun of crafting without the messy cleanup. Amanda Watkins is hip to this notion, so she’s coordinated a renegade craft extravaganza called Stitch Rock. It’s happening on Saturday, and it’s your one chance to see Delray Beach transform itself into a bustling Williamsburg indie-marketplace for an afternoon.

The vendors are a diverse legion of crafty sorts, making and peddling everything from pocket mirrors and stationery to body lotions and hand-knit doggie scarves. So everyone on your holiday shopping list – from mom to Fido – is covered in one adorable stop. Get your engine revvin’ with hand-painted rockabilly art by Slushbox, then slather on something luxurious like vegan Citrus and Basil Whipped Body Cream by local gal-run company Lollibomb. Everyone’s favorite fashion designer Adrianne Ruffin will not only be selling her deconstructed/reconstructed clothing, she and Jessica Bosch (wardrobe stylist to the stars and the starstruck) are taking over the catwalk at 3 p.m. for a runway show. The estrogenathon begins at noon and ends at 6 p.m. at the Old School Square Vintage Gymnasium (51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach). Entry is $3 at the door (little tykes are free with a parent).
