It’s All About the Hamiltons

Unfortunately, ten dollars doesn’t go very far these days. It’ll buy you a large sub from Quizno’s, two hours of parking on South Beach, or a dime bag of oregano; all of which may leave you feeling unfulfilled. But tonight, that ten bucks will allow you entry into the Future Sound of Soul Music at the Wallflower Gallery (10 NE Third St., Miami). The concert features South Florida soulsters, and according to event host Chris Imperial the show is all about bringing the integrity back to Magic City music.

“The reason why I’m doing this,” says Imperial, “is because when people think of South Florida music, they think of crunk music, gold teeth, and really, really, really disgustingly cheap looking jewelry… and they think of illiteracy.
