What Lies Beneath

When “Bodies” wanted to roost in the Museum of Discovery and Science last year, it was rebuffed. The museum distanced itself from the exhibit’s controversy. The cadavers in “Bodies” are unclaimed and unidentified, a fact that appalled some but had no effect on the hundreds of thousands of others, who paid more than 20 bucks a ticket to see the traveling exhibit, which wound up housing itself in a Miami commercial-zoned space. Since then, “Bodies” knows that it doesn’t need museum support to be financially profitable. So when it opens in Fort Lauderdale this week, it will be housed only a few blocks away (at 300 SW First Ave., Suite 214, Fort Lauderdale, Riverfront) from the Museum of Discovery and Science.
