Who says all the Jews are in Miami Beach? So not true. They're in Fort Lauderdale too. And today from noon to 5 p.m., they're all partying on Las Olas at the Chanukah Fair at Huizinga Park (corner of Las Olas and Andrews Ave.), causing a ruckus with their carnival rides and food (which, presumably, will be kosher), with their dreidels spinning rakishly out of control. There's even a magic show at 12:30 before the grand menorah is lit at 5 p.m., which will be nice. The only thing they aren't providing is your own overbearing mother to guilt you for not calling home often enough. No worries, there will undoubtedly be many in attendance, so you can just borrow someone else's to get the full effect. Admission is free, although the rides and the food cost a little bit of gelt. For more information call 954-667-8000, or www.downtownjewish.com.
