The Worth Avenue Pet Parade is always as much royal spectacle as it is entertainment. Where else can you see pets and owners wearing matching nail polish? It’s also where a bunch of lucky pups were picked as winners in the America’s Top Dog Model Contest(the over-all winner, paws down, was a Miss Daphne Simone, a cocker spaniel from West Palm). And guess what? The bitch is back.

At Saturday’s America’s Top Dog Model Awards and Holiday Extravaganza in the Gucci Courtyard (Worth Avenue, Palm Beach), winners from the parade will arrive via limo and red carpet to receive their awards, Daphne included, while you and the paparazzi clamor to see who she’s wearing. But your pooch won’t be left out, sentenced to eat a candlelit plate of spaghetti by himself in an alley; Santa will be there to pose for pictures with him (kickbacks go to the Palm Beach Zoo)! There will also be vendors of every sort on site, so that you can sniff out the perfect Christmas gifts for your four-legged companion. There will also be music, refreshments, drawings for prizes, and oodles of other fun activities to keep you and your hound in the holiday spirit. This event is free and open to the public.
