Well, slap your hogs and pluck those chickens—the hoe-down-cum-musical, A Murder, A Mystery, & A Marriage, is being brought back to life. Originally written by Mark Twain in 1876 for an Atlantic Monthly magazine competition, the tale involves two young, soon-to-be betrothed lovers who get wedged apart by family, a mysterious stranger, and a dastardly deed. Kind of sounds like your life story, right? Strap on those overalls and join in the fun Wednesday through Sunday at the Florida Stage (Plaza del Mar, 262 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan). Tickets cost $42 to $45. Call 561-585-3433, or visit www.floridastage.org.
