That’s the thing about family: It’s a crazy assemblage of folks that you’re forever tied to, whether you would personally choose them to be or not. High school physics teacher-turned-comedian Steve Solomon not only understands the unifying effect of family commiseration, he’s built a career on it. His previous one-man-show, My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish, and I’m in Therapy, sold out across the country. Now he’s got a new bank of stories about the same colorful cast of characters in My Sister’s an Only Child. With Solomon channeling voices and dialects from his Brooklyn upbringing, you’ll laugh along with the knowledge that, yes, someone else has been through it, and, no, the embarrassment never actually killed him.
