Live From West Palm Beach…

Shoot, we know as well as anyone that going out early on a Friday is so passé, and that fashionably late is the coolest kind of arrival. But let’s face it: Being cool is boring. There’s lots to do early on Friday nights, and that list just got even longer, because each second, third, and fourth Friday of the month is now Friday Night Live at Respectables (518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach).

Here’s the scoop: Get up from your disco nap and drag your ass out at 9 p.m. You’ll be rewarded with the hippest, fresh local bands in South Florida for the low, low price of absolutely free. Each week will feature new acts running the gamut of rock, industrial, pop, and electro – this week you can shimmy around apathetically to cheeky synth-pop group The Ache and ´80s-esque dance band Formula Redux. Did we mention no cover? No cover. Call 561-832-9999, or visit www.respectablestreet.com.
