Museums bore you. They’re just so… unsexy. And clothed. You prefer your culture served up with a twist of kink, which is precisely why you’ll be attending ARTundressed ´08: South Florida’s First International Erotic Art Festival.

This weekend-long fest features all varieties of art: film, fashion, sculpture, canvas, music — each exploring the sensual, often private side of sexuality. One of the big draws for the affair is a nude photo collection of everyone’s favorite, timeless pop star, Madonna. The series was taken in 1979, back before she got too big to cuddle and her mole was still smaller than a poker chip.

ARTundressed isn’t content with simply titillating you; it wants you to reciprocate. Saturday night’s post-exhibit event would be a great time to show that you’re a giver, as well as a receiver. “The Good, the Bad, and the Kinky” ball tickles and teases from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Expect activities galore: A 12:30 a.m. fetish fashion show will leave you lusting for leather, while live erotic performances act as eye-Rufies.

If you prefer daytime activities, meet up for a meal. There’s a brunch on Saturday and an afternoon barbeque on Sunday (we’re going to bet they’re serving footlong hotdogs.) ARTundressed covers two spaces: SOHO Studios (2136 NW 1st Ave., Miami) and the World Erotic Art Museum (1205 Washington Ave., Miami). Find the full line up along with tickets for individual and bulk events at www.artundressed.net.
