Kanye Puts the Extra Back in Extraterrestrial
Published on May 01, 2008 at 12:00am
Its official: Kanye Wests star-studded Glow in the Dark Tour is dampening music critics panties everywhere it travels. Even seasoned haters are raving: theyre calling it the ultimate concert experience and the show to redefine arena performance. It seems that Wests world-famous ego might have finally found an environment that suits it: the vacuum of deep space.
It goes like this: Wests spaceship crashes, transforming the stage into an extension of the cosmos. He, a lone rapper on a quest to alter the status quo, must conquer the universes magnitude and get his spaceship home. Expect aliens, LED lights, soliloquies, a strong man vs. universe plot line, and lots and lots booty shakin hits.
But dont think Kanyes alone on this mission. No. Hes got Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D., and Chris Browns latest crush, Rihanna backin' him up at American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). If you can get tickets, do. Theyll run you between $46 and $81. Get them at www.ticketmaster.com. This concert is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
