By now we’ve all seen Jason Taylor on Dancing With the Stars — he’s scoring great every week and looks like he might be in command of the competition. But all that dancing works up a powerful thirst. Good thing Taylor has the hook-up; he’s President of Franchise Development for JuiceBlendz, a 4-year old Weston-based smoothie franchise that’s rapidly growing across Florida.

The company actually spawned from CEO Adam Ogden’s line of vitamin supplements before expanding into a health-conscious drink-shop and restaurant, serving original smoothies such as the Chocolate Covered Strawberry and the PB & J, made with strawberries and peanut butter. Interesting. Now, President Taylor has expanded JuiceBlendz into a new market: Wilton Manors. Yep, the company’s latest location (2246 Wilton Dr., in the Shoppes of Wilton Manors) is now open and serving up smoothies, sandwiches, and wraps with a healthy twist. And after a successful grand opening last week, JuiceBlendz is extending its hours from 7 a.m. to midnight, Thursday through Sunday.
