This local gal/firefighter held onto who she was in a sea of conniving shape-shifters, and while she didn’t win the prize at the time (Tila wouldn’t have been good for you, Dani!), her actions have made her a heartthrob for so many women that she’s been asked to emcee AquaGirl weekend.

The party is already in full swing; plunge into Aqua tonight and you’ll see Dani introduce the mega-awesome rockers, the Cliks. The Canadian foursome’s notoriety exploded into full-blown fame after they hopped aboard the 2007 True Colors tour; that’s when the Cliks found themselves in the middle of everything, sharing the stage with the Gossip, Debbie Harry, and Rufus Wainwright. And tonight? Well, they’re going to blow the roof off of Studio A (60 NE 11th St., Miami), just for you. But hang out a while, there’s like, a zillion things to do this weekend. Tonight you can hit up a three-course dinner at Vivi (101 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach), and later a dance party at Nikki Beach (One Ocean Dr., Miami Beach).
