A Musical for Mullet-loversBy Riki AltmanPublished on May 29, 2008 at 12:05amThe Great American Trailer Park Musical blows into town Wednesday, just in time for hurricane season. Set in The Sunshine State [no shocker there], it stars a home-wrecking hoochie on the run from her violent Sharpie-sniffing boyfriend. Will the neighbors toss out the trash before she manages to permanently shoehorn herself between a tollbooth collector and his agoraphobic wife? Even if you dont reside in a doublewide, chances are youll get a hoot out of this parody
or at least youll relate to the pink plastic flamingoes, vinyl siding, and Daisy Dukes. No need to pack duct tape and Cheez Whiz just roll on down to Raymond F. Kravis Center (Rinker Playhouse, 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach) Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets cost $32. This show runs through June 22. Call 561-832-7469, or visit www.kravis.org.
