Its a resurrection of sorts: Actor Ted Neeley, who played the title role in the original motion picture Jesus Christ Superstar, will once again resurrect the role Wednesday for the theatrical versions final days at the Broward Center. Now, folks, this show is nothing to get hung up about; perceive it as a chance to witness The Saviors last days before his crucifixion in Jerusalem, as envisioned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Corey Glover [you may remember him as the wetsuit-wearing lead singer of Living Colour who crooned Cult of Personality] portrays Judas the traitor. Rock out with the Son of G-to-the-D at Broward Center for the Performing Arts (201 SW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale) at 8 p.m. Almsuh, we mean ticketscost $21 to $65. Call 954-462-0222, or visit www.browardcenter.org.
