Stonewall: Now Even Prouder!
Sure, there have always been ancillary parties the week of Stonewall. The bars, clubs, and artist nooks lining Wilton Drive can be counted on for oodles of pride-packed activities, but never has Stonewall itself stretched beyond the 24 hour mark. Until now.
This year’s street festival is bigger, gayer, and pridier than ever before, with the event spanning both Saturday and Sunday. Come out today for a tremendous street festival, packed to the gills with boozy entertainment. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. you’ll see the pianos duel, DJs spin, and headliner Crystal Waters share her “100% Pure Love” with all attending. And remember, just because the roads re-open you don’t have to go home; Georgie’s, New Moon, and Rosie’s are all throwing down parties late into the night.
