DJ Irie

By Jonathan Cunningham

Published on June 26, 2008

When it comes to basketball-arena announcers, nobody in the country is as good at it as the Miami Heat's DJ Irie. While a lot of b-ball fans are familiar with him only through his job with the Heat, he's also made a strong name for himself as a club DJ playing some of the hottest jams of the moment plus the best throwbacks you can imagine. Now that he's affiliated with Pepsi and LRG clothing company, you'd think some of it would go to his head, but in person, he's the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. This weekend, he'll be at Spirits Nightclub doing what he does best, and since he's got connections with the who's who of the music industry, you never know what surprise guest he'll have with him. Last time he spun at Spirits, he brought T-Pain. If you want to see what tricks he's going to pull out this week, you've got to show up to find out.
