Pop Shots

Are they the artists or the art? Both!

Today, check out “I Shot Warhol, Wesselmann, Lichtenstein, Rosenquist, and Indiana: Photographs by Bob Adelman and William John Kennedy,” the exhibition with more names attached to it than that winning beagle at the 2008 Westminster Dog Show. It’s a collection of more than 60 images, presenting the world’s top pop art icons at the height of their careers. You’ve probably heard of the aforementioned painters, so here’s the 411 on the photographers: Adelman’s award-winning work has appeared in many major magazines and Kennedy is a fine art shutterbug who gained national fame freelancing for various New York City advertising agencies. Both gents currently reside in Miami, so get to the Boca Raton Museum of Art (501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton) and see what our homeboys snapped. The exhibit is on display through September 7. Admission costs $4 to $8. Call 561-392-2500, or visit www.bocamuseum.org.
