Dirty, Sexy, Fins

Say what you will about the Miami Dolphins, but these guys know how to entertain. What other team in professional sports – especially one so abysmally bad – could consistently provide such thrilling offseasons full of violence, mystery, intrigue, backstabbing, and scandal? Since Bill Parcells has come in to shake things up, the organization has looked more like an episode of Dirty, Sexy, Money than anything else. A quick recap: There have been beaucoup firings, vets like Zack Thomas and Jason Taylor jumping (or being shoved off) ship, and training camp bare-knuckle bust ups involving number one draft pick Jake Long. Some things remain the same, though: The O-line looks miserable, John Beck is still losing position in camp to journeymen like Josh McCown, and Joey Porter is still flapping his mouth. What else could you want?

So the question isn’t “Why would you go see the Fins’ first preseason game against the Tampa Bay Bucs Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.?” It’s “Why wouldn’t you?” These guys are more fun to watch than Must See TV. Fans would be wise to check eBay for cheap seats, but tickets can also be had starting at $41 through 888-FINS-TIX or www.ticketmaster.com.
