You’ve always believed that the universe’s complexity and your personal spirituality are intertwined, but since there is no specific way to prove this, you rely on faith. The organization’s mission is to promote public education in the field of “spiritual knowledge,” a concept, Kuantum says, that can be better explored scientifically. On Saturday and Sunday you can attend the Kuantum Group’s New Era Film Festival, a two-day event showcasing five different documentaries. The films range in subject matter from Secrets of the Third Reich, which examines Adolf Hitler’s interest in contacting extra terrestrial life, to the perilous Planet X/Year 2012, which poses questions about the world’s complete annihilation. Some films are in English, others Spanish, so check out the list online at www.fliff.com. Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The films screen from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on both days.
