"I want to know why I look the way I look and act the way I act, but he won't even give me that time," Omar says. "It's not even financial; it's just doing things like going out to eat. Let me meet my brothers and my sisters. I just want to know him. I can't count on one hand the number of times I've seen him. I've never spent more than two hours around him. He lectures me and leaves. He says things like, 'Hang around successful people and you'll be successful.' Little rhymes. But I can't pitty-pat around about that. I can't worry about that.
