The Last Mistress
The Lady Or The Tramp?

With better costumes than any porn film, more gripping suspense than Fatal Attraction, and perhaps even racier sex scenes than that infamous HBO series (you know which one we mean) is the little French import, The Last Mistress. Directed by the ever-controversial Catherine Breillat, this tale follows a destitute rascal who gets engaged to a virginal aristocratic cupcake of a blonde. Lucky, huh? But when word leaks out about his secret ten-year affair with a truly feral female, hes got some splainin (and heart-breakin) to do. It may be difficult to tear your eyes off the copulating long enough to read the subtitles, but if youve mastered the art of combining coitus and ESPN, you may already be well on your way. Check out The Last Mistress at the Lake Worth Playhouse (713 Lake Ave., Lake Worth). Tickets cost $5 to $8. Showtimes vary, so call the box office at 561-586-6410, or visit www.lakeworthplayhouse.org.
