Your ΄80s Mix, Live

No decade sparked more one-hit wonders then the ’80s. It was the generation where unknown artists could become rock stars over night with the help of some catchy synthesizer effects and a poorly shot MTV video. Despite falling off the planet, these bands, their songs, and their obnoxious hairstyles still hold a place in our hearts — and our iPods. You may hate to admit it, but you know you have Tommy Tutone’s “867-5309/Jenny” stashed somewhere in your music collection.

Now is your chance to relive all of your favorite ΄80s mix CD moments, when The Regeneration Tour rolls into the Kravis Center (701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach) this Sunday. Sing along with Mr. Tutone, as well as other single servers like ABC, Missing Persons, Naked Eyes, and 10,000 Maniacs (sans Natalie Merchant of course…). Just try not to look too bored when they start playing their “other” songs. Tickets start at $20. The show begins at 7 p.m. Visit www.kravis.org.
Sun., Aug. 31, 7 p.m., 2008
