The Wackness is Way Dope

Well, if any of that suits your fancy, The Wackness might just be your bag of grass. This comedy flick follows teenage pot dealer Luke Shapiro, played by Josh Peck, swaying to the beat of hip hop’s golden age: mid-’90s New York.

Sir Ben Kingsley plays Luke’s weed-bartering psychotherapist and guides him through his final summer before college. Things get complicated when Luke finds himself smitten with Sir Ben’s daughter, played by Olivia Thirlby.
