Fulfill Your Uniform Fantasy

Without getting Tasered

Almost anytime you get the opportunity to see a police officer fight someone up close, you have a few of these things in your future: a) Taser, b) pepper spray, c) handcuffs, d) the backseat of a squad car, and/or e) cellmates. Tonight’s spectacle “Heroes in Action” at Hard Rock Live (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) will be an exception to that rule. You’ll watch the best fighting cops from South Florida (both male and female) square off in the squared circle against some of the toughest local firefighters. They’ll put down their guns and axes and put on gloves for your entertainment.

Now the best part: all this violence is for a good cause, to raise money for the Hollywood Athletic League, a youth activities program run by the Hollywood PD. Check it out tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and $50. Buy ‘em at www.ticketmaster.com.
