More Cushion for the Boundary Pushin’

It isn’t that comedian Ralphie May is racially insensitive; he’s just a man who loves excess. Sure, other funnymen might be content adding a hint of “white people sure are silly dancers!” or a dash of “black people sure do dress well!” to their shticks, but not Ralphie. His set doles out a super-sized helping of stereotypes, served up alongside a medley of racially-charge Tourette's. In a five minute time period, you’ll hear about black men bangin’ white chicks to improve their credit scores, Mexican girls merging their quinceaneras and baby showers, and that gays shouldn’t get to tie up traffic with parades “just because they suck cock.”

So if you’ve ever thought: “Golly, Carlos Mencia’s observational racial humor would be funnier if it came from a 398-pound white guy with a mouth like Bob Saget,” then you’re in luck! Ralphie May performs this Thursday through Saturday at the Fort Lauderdale Improv, located at 5700 Seminole Way in Hollywood. Tickets cost $21.20 for Thursday and Friday, and $23.32 for Valentine’s Day. Get them at improvftl.com.
