Life in the Fast Lane
When you visit Eddie Griffin’s official website (www.eddiegriffin.tv), you’ll be hard pressed to find anything really helpful or current. In fact the last update promotes Griffin in his “next” big screen role, 2005’s Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. There’s no mention of his work in the Razzie nominated Norbit, let alone his recent brush with death (a Youtube favorite). Last March, Griffin completely totaled a Ferrari Enzo while promoting the film Redline. The event earned him the title “World’s Dumbest Driver” on one cable clip show.
It’s possible he’s just too busy to worry about updating his website, or maybe doesn’t really feel like re-living those moments. Whatever the reason, Mr. Griffin has decided to take a break from his busy schedule and get back to what he’s famous for: great stand-up comedy. He’ll be appearing at the Improv Paradise Live this Friday and Saturday. Let’s hope he hires some sort of transportation service to assure his safe arrival.
