Few celebs can brag that they’ve hit rock bottom like Britney Spears. Her oh-so public breakdown included a scalping, drunken matrimony, and assault with an umbrella. We don’t think that paparazzo was really screaming “Hit me baby one more time,” Brit. Her antics were better suited to some rock star wreck, but our pop princess pulled that shit off in style. And even better, she’s back like she left something. That’s right she did — her career. Naysayers thought her MTV VMA wins for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video Of The Year were some type of P.R. fluke, but one listen to her latest effort, Circus, and dammit, you’ll be willing to forgive the former Mouseketeer for another mental trip if she keeps giving us music like “Womanizer” and “If You Seek Amy.” When on “Leather and Lace” she coos “French fingertips, red lips, bitch is dangerous” you’ll believe why she is a definite threat, both in her personal life and on stage.
