Long before Fall Out Boy was plugging the Honda Civic, the backseat love affair between dirty rock bands and fast rides was already consummated. From Queens Im in Love With My Car to Metallicas Fuel, its a rare and deep partnership in a sea of fleeting and skeezy backstage encounters.
So when the legendary New England metal gathering known as Locofest was looking for a second, warmer home for their 2009 southern installment, the Palm Beach International Raceway was a natural fit. Locofest South arrives at the raceway with over 25 bands in tow, including Mudvayne, In This Moment, Nonpoint, EOTO, Hed P.E., and Bitchfire.
