Right about now, you've probably got relatives in town for the holidays who need to be entertained… but bringing Grandma to your favorite dive bar? That might not go over so well. Luckily, Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit is coming to the Coral Springs Center of the Arts. It's the current incarnation of Gerard Alessandrini's much-loved, long-running off-Broadway musical revue, which has been faithfully lampooning Broadway’s yearly hits and stars since 1982.

In fact, with its hilarious skits and talented, ever-changing cast, it's been called the Saturday Night Live of theater. This time around, the victims of Alessandrini's satire include shows like Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hairspray, and Avenue Q, and stars ranging from Billy Joel to Brooke Shields. C’mon, grams is gonna love that!
