Trying to filter through all the coked-out parties, DJ sets, pool-side romps, and beach blowouts going down during the Winter Music Conference is akin to trying to figure out what goes on inside a black hole: maybe there's an extra-planetary race of lizard beasts staring back at you from the other side, ready to shepherd you through the cosmos and school you in the ways of the universe. Or maybe it's just God's dusty broom closet. You can't be sure. Luckily, New Times can help. Here are a few parties going on this WMC weekend that you can rest assured will be every bit the mind-blowing, ear drum-ringing experience you're looking for:

One Night Only... invades the Zen-like confines of Karu & Y Friday night beginning at 10, bringing with it three stages of intense sound. Miami homeboy Austin Leeds will headline the Buddha Club stage along with Funkerman, Robbie Rivera, and Superman himself, Roger Sanchez. Meanwhile Sander K, King Britt, and LA Riots will appear on the Garden stage and in the Ultralounge with over two-dozen other artists. Bring $40 to 71 NW 14th St. in Miami.
